ReceiptRecord (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information.
1. Information We Collect
- Email address and authentication data
- Receipt images and uploaded files
- Extracted receipt data (merchant, date, total)
- Usage data such as monthly OCR counts
2. How We Use Data
- Provide receipt scanning and OCR
- Organise receipts into workspaces
- Enforce plan limits
- Export receipts to Excel
3. OCR Processing
Receipt images may be temporarily processed by third-party OCR services to extract receipt information. Data is processed securely and not used for training or advertising.
4. Data Storage
Data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure. Receipt files are private and accessed only via signed URLs.
5. Your Rights
You may request access to, export of, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. You may also request deletion of your account (see “Account Deletion” below).
6. Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your ReceiptRecord account and associated personal data at any time.
To request account deletion, please email us at receiptrecordapp@gmail.com and include:
- The email address associated with your account
- A brief request for account deletion
Upon verification, we will permanently delete:
- Your user account
- Uploaded receipt images and files
- Extracted receipt data
- Associated usage data
Some data may be retained where required by law (for example, billing or tax records) and will be kept only for the legally required retention period.
Account deletion requests are typically processed within 30 days.
